This painting was completed for a client who liked my first landscape 'Northern Lights'. This client already had a collection of landscapes from different artists and in different styles. What inspired them about my landscapes was the idea that it wasn't copied from a photo, but more a result of my imagination, with some photographic inspiration. So I kept this in mind when talking to the client and discussing compositions, where I used photographs that I had taken from Wales as a starting point.
