This mural was done for a hair salon which had recently been decorated. The walls were very plain so they wanted to add a bit of colour and fill the space, but with a subtle design. Therefore we decided to go with the idea of natural branches that weren't too bold but still stood out. To help this mural fit in with the space, I decided to paint the tree branches as if they were growing out of the wooden shelves.

For this mural I went for a realistic look on the branches by creating a lot of texture with my paint brush, and by using a variation of highlights and shadows.
